It's Fall!

Autumn is finally here and I couldn't be happier. It's always been my favorite season, with the leaves changing and the weather getting cooler. In honor of that, I've put together a mix that reminds me of fall. Most of these songs have nothing to do with the season, but they are all songs that I associate with this time of the year. I hope you like!

Van Morrison - Into the Mystic
Laura Nyro - Eli's Comin'
Rufus Wainwright - Crumb By Crumb
Stephane Grappelli - Autumn Leaves
Fiery Furnaces - Inca Rag/Name Game
Elliott Smith - In the Lost & Found (Honky Bach)
Damien Rice - Volcano
Lizzie West - Chariots Rise
Lucinda Williams - Lonely Girls
Sarah Harmer - Capsized
Marissa Nadler - Turquoise
Rilo Kiley - A Man/Me/Then Jim
Julie Doiron - Ce Charmant Coeur
Moxy Fruvous - Fly
Tori Amos - Virginia
Hobotalk - I'll Arrive
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man - Tom the Model
Tricky with PJ Harvey - Broken Homes

Nice list! Not to nit-pick but...your number 4 is actually "Stephane" Grapelli, a guy who was a jazz violinist and was most famously associated with guitar legend Django Reinhardt (who is also heard on this song).

It's Friday...I'm more prone to typos on Friday. :)

You have great taste in music, young lady. I prefer Three Dog Night's version of Eli's Coming. I think I still have the LP! Damn, I'm getting old!

For Autumn, I'd actually suggest "Gold Dust" by Tori Amos instead of "Virginia" (which is still a great song).
