Jon Brion is supposed to put out a proper solo album at some point. Until then, we have Dean Drouillard. On Dream At The Harmony Motel, he takes some heavy Brion influence ("Today") and throws in some Burt Bacharach and Jeff Buckley for good measure. Very impressive.

Brion DID put out "Meaningless" a few years back, though it wasn't much distributed. Have you heard any of it?
it's one of my favorites. but he's supposed to have a NEW full-length out.
