Dean Wareham & Britta Phillips :: They Score

I loved The Squid & The Whale's soundtrack, but was even more taken with it when I saw the credits roll and learned it was scored by none other than Dean Wareham & Britta Phillips. Next to John Spencer and Cristina Martinez, they may be my favorite rock 'n roll couple. Their post-LUNA output has been an eclectic laid back affair -- appealing to the converted, yet still stretching their creative collective muse.
