Action Woman !
An exemplar of '60s punk, "Action Woman" still sounds pretty damn nasty today !
This excellent garage band (The Electras) was formed in Ely, Minnesota back in 1961 or 1962, starting out as an all-instrumental band. Over time, they added a vocalist, and became one of the Midwest's hottest bands.
Written by producer Warren Kendrick, ‘Action Woman’ was in fact recorded as a demo by The Electras, and he actually released the Litter’s version as a single. Of course I like both versions but the first I’ve ever heard was by The Electras (think I was 12 or 13, imagine what a song like that can do to a teenager…and hell yeah, I’ve found my action woman, but it’s the not the subject)

dear rev. frost, i have been under major stress tryin to figure you out, to no avail. how is it someone from somewhere in france has such knowledge and access to such great american music ... perhaps i'll never know (my bro-in-law is from the hitherlands of fransay and he don't give up secrets easy either) ... but better the mystery. thanks anyway for these lil gems you disperse like they were meant to be, we're better off for it at least.

Well, sleepybomb, it goes like this: God, in his 2nd week at work, still felt a bit insecure (being the new guy and all), so he decided he should create more even if it wasn't quite as good as all the plants and animals. So now we have beer, calzones, brownies with slivered almonds, and Reverend Frost's record collection.
They are friends of mine! Please, tell them that you know Sylvie, from Brazil (Campinas) and they will remember it.
